Solar Storm 2024 May 11. A sunspot region rotated into view from off the sun's southeast limb on may 1st, 2024 and was assigned the number 3664 (ar 3664). Positioned between the sun and earth, the esa/nasa solar and heliospheric observatory (soho) caught the entire solar outburst on camera.
